Mission

The Concurrent Technologies Corporation Foundation (CTCF) was established in 1998. The goal of the Foundation, which is headquartered in Washington, D.C., is to improve the quality of life for the general public through unique economic development initiatives that involve the private and public sectors as well as non-profit organizations. The Foundation seeks to mainstream niche technologies and has done so, for example, in the energy and environmental areas.

Besides being a recurring Sponsor of western Pennsylvania and the National Science Bowls of the U. S. Department of Energy, the Foundation has provided full scholarships to a financially deserving Junior or Senior college student in the Engineering Department of West Virginia University, the CTC Foundation Scholarship.

Other educational activities include the broadcast of a public television program on health care and programming on energy-environmental topics. Also, the Foundation has funded a University of Pittsburgh Energy Speakers Series as well as sponsored the Pennsylvania Energy Leadership Council Conference.

The CTC Foundation applies scientific, technological, innovative, and humanistic principles to enhance economic progress and the quality of life. From an independent platform, the Foundation is dedicated to developing and driving quantum-leap solutions to meet new challenges by:
