This unique technology is based on a system of cameras located throughout a commercial building, be it an office building, hotel, Inn or medium- to large-sized security-sensitive built environment.  The cameras can be accessed by first responders who approach the building from a vehicle and use a laptop computer.

In answering a call to a building equipped with these cameras, the first responders can detect where the unauthorized entry or fire is.  They can determine the floor on which the entrant or fire is located and the direction in which it is moving.  They can see the subject and relate the exact location to the building’s floor plan, noting “where” elevators, stairs, standpipes of water are installed.  They can develop a specific strategy and plan before they arrive at the scene.

The usual way that first responders react at the scene of a fire or unauthorized entry is as portrayed in the movies – they are dispersed, some in one direction and some in another.  Valuable time is spent until the subject is apprehended.  With the Net Talon system they can also review the videotape before they arrive at the scene.

The cameras can be equipped with sensors to detect anthrax and other airborne toxins.
